Your contribution to LHYSA makes a difference

LHYSA needs a concession stand to replace the one burned by vandals in 2006.

As enrollment in Liberty Hill’s soccer program continues to grow, the Association has a growing list of needs to accommodate our youth and improve our program. LHYSA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, which means your contribution is tax deductible. If you or your business is interested in making a significant difference in our community, contact us today and let us know how you can help.

LHYSA Wish List

  • Concession Stand. Our building was burned by vandals in 2006 and since that time, we have been using shade canopies, folding tables and ice chests. To better serve our families and help support our program, we would like a permanent building with access to electricity and water.
  • Field Repair. Some soccer fields are suffering from erosion caused by intense flooding, and others have been damaged by circus animals and heavy equipment. LHYSA needs donations of top soil, grass seed, tractor equipment and assistance with labor to repair and revive these damaged fields.
  • Lighting for fields. In 2007, LHYSA received a gift of light poles and lights from a longtime LHYSA friend and former president, Eugene Denson. However, we lack the funds to pay for electric service and PEC rejected our requests for a contribution to this project. Many families are unable to get their children to practice after the time changes in the fall because of long commutes from work. As a result, some children practice on fields lit by car headlights and some aren’t able to practice at all. In addition to scheduling issues, lights are needed to help keep the park and LHYSA property safe.
  • Sign at park entrance. LHYSA would like a sign marking the entrance to Sundance Fields at City Park.
  • Field curbs. Additional wood posts are needed to protect the fields from vehicles.
  • Field maintenance equipment. A riding lawn mower and other lawn equipment is needed to help maintain fields. Used equipment in good working condition is welcome.
