Find out how by visiting South Texas Soccer Referees, Inc. Training for Grade 8 and Grade 9 certification is available now in the Austin area for spring season.
Grade 8 certification from US Soccer Federation allows referees to work on youth games of all sizes and ages and serve as Assistant Referee (AR) on all youth games and selected adult games. There are no age restrictions to attend this class, however, STSR and LHYSA recommends students be at least 13 years of age. Some candidates experienced with soccer may do fine at age 11 or 12.
