Directions:
If you are coming from Austin or Georgetown, head West on Hwy 29 and continue through Liberty Hill until you cross railroad tracks.  Just after the railroad tracks, make a right on CR200.  Then cross the tracks again and the fields are immediately on the left.

Size 3 soccer ball.
4 vs. 4 no gaol keeper
Four – 8 minute quarters.  Have the time kept by a team parent or Asst Coach.  Pause at 4 minutes to rotate kids (but you can sub at any time otherwise).
One Coach for each team on the field and will be acting as the Referees.
Goal kicks:  the ball must clear the Penalty Area before a player can touch the ball; otherwise, rekick.
No throw-ins.  The ball will be kicked in to resume play.
No off-sides, but don’t plant players by the goal.
No slide tackling.  If a player is on the ground, then first action should be to get up, and then play.
Rotate players so that every player plays for at least half the game.
No score keeping or standings during season of play.
 
 
U8 Guidelines:
Size 3 soccer ball.
7 vs. 7  which includes a goal keeper
Four – 10 minute quarters.
Referee: yes
Goal kicks:  the ball must clear the Penalty Area before a player can touch the ball; otherwise, rekick.
Throw-ins: one redo.  Leniency at Referee’s discretion.  If second throw-in is bad, then the ball will switch to the other team for throw-in.
Substitutions: no more than 4 players per team to substitute at one time.
No obvious off-sides:  Leniency at Referee’s discretion
No Penalty kicks.
No slide tackling.  If a player is on the ground, then first action should be to get up, and then play.
All fouls result in Indirect kicks.  If foul occurs inside the Penalty Area, then the ball will be moved outside of the Penalty Area.
Rotate positions so that players experience all positions.  (No specialized goalkeeping role for one or two players)
Rotate players so that every player plays for at least half the game.
No score keeping or standings during season of play.
 
 
U10 Guidelines:

  • Cost to register is $90 for first child and $80 for each additional child
  • Ages 4-15 (age as of August 1) are welcome
  • Div 4 is ages 4-9 (as of August 1, 2011)
  • Div 3 is ages 10-15 (as of August 1, 2011)
  • Div 3 starts practice on week of Feb 13
  • Div 3 games start Feb 25
  • Div 4 starts practices on week of Feb 26
  • Div 4 games start March 24
  • Practice is once per week for Div 4 (U6-U10)
  • Div 3 coaches have options to hold 2 practices per week
  • Games are on Saturdays and usually finish before noon (depending on how many teams we end up with – Div 3 travel games may vary)
  • No games on March 17 (Spring Break) or April 7 (Easter)
  • Operational costs have risen and volunteers are needed so you will be asked to volunteer time or pay an additional $50 (or both if you have the time and resources)
  • Season kickoff celebration is Feb 25 (player evaluations for U8-U10, games and BBQ)
  • End of Season Celebration and Awards is May 26
  • We play on the soccer fields in Liberty Hill City Park on CR200 (Div 3 teams are travel teams so some games are played at other fields)
